:D

Although I am really busy cleaning my flat, studying and re-reading books for Yuletide, I couldn't resist this quiz. [info]lian_li, it's your fault. ;)
As a dedicated roleplayer I have spent a massive amount of time thinking about and discussion what character class I would be, what my character sheet would look like, and now that I've started to play D&D more often, I've also discussed alignment with some of my friends. (Captain America's alignment, mostly. Do I get geek points?)
The test is not bad at all. (Part of it is taken from a D&D source book, and I've already answered the questions for one of my newer characters.) I'm a notorious human player; wouldn't have thought of Ranger, but as I'm not strong enough for a fighter I guess it makes sense. And chaotic good fits okay, too, though I personally would tend more towards neutral good.
My stats are surprisingly high for a normal person's, but not on hero level. Thus I have proven that I'm not a Mary Sue. ;D

right to meme?

I managed to send the not completely finished thesis to its proofreaders, and now I need some distance so I can stop freaking out about the conclusion which I do not have so I can write it tomorrow. Thus, a meme. Chose the one that won't cost me too much time, saving the others for later. Seen at [info]kelpie667's.

Name a character from one of my fandoms, and I'll give you either:

(a) three facts about them from my personal canon/fanon,
(b) a reason he/she sucks,
(c) a reason he/she is awesomecakes,
(d) five things that never happened to that character, or
(e) five people that character never fell in love with and why.

You pick the character. I pick the letter.

If you're not sure I know a certain character (if it's an X-Man, for example ;)), add a second one. Ask me about Marvel characters, will you? I feel the urge to express some of these thinky thoughts I've been having during the last few weeks.

Most important thing: LOOK AT MY ICON! I LOVE IT TO PIECES!

Alright then, finally.

If you see this, post a quote from Stargate Atlantis in your journal

"I really thought there’d be more hot girls."

curiously, happiness is not only in swords

Because thoran_ziyal tagged me. And I actually wanted to do it, because I need something like this.

The rules are easy, just post 10 things that recently made you happy! Then tag some people and force them to post this meme on their LJs. Because it is good. Everyone needs a little happiness once in a while.

- the iaido seminar: being able to practise five hours a day, no thoughts.
the sound of 25 iaitos (swords) cutting the air.
positive feedback.
25 people in gi & hakama (iaido clothes), i felt at home among them, the way i've only felt at home among roleplayer or on medieval markets.
oh, everything that has to do with iaido, even carrying my sword across town, feeling a bit like a warrior.
- today i asked the people from my iaido class if they'd like to continue training over the semester pause - they did. and thanked me for coming up with the idea.
- spending time with a. good time. and that he solved a problem and feels much better now.
- email and phonecalls from three of my best friends; spoke to my mother on the phone, too, and she didn't kill me when i said that it's possible i can't finish uni this summer.
- we had a 'bürgerentscheid' in leipzig yesterday. felt great to do something so very democratic, and we even won. :)
- the days when i manage to work on my thesis continuously and reach my target for the day. it makes me feel powerful and in control.
- the sun shining in my room.
- listening to stille volk and tri yann on my bed, when i realised that maybe, if i tried, i could still be the person i was in my best moments, because i can still feel the same way.
- and playing allan after that; playing my favourite characters often makes me happy.
- the ninth doctor's grin: helps me remember a different perspective on life. i just imitate it when i feel bad, and sometimes it cheers me up.

you know, my dears, you should try this. i could think of only one answer before, now i have the required ten, some more in my head, and i really feel a lot better.

so, i tag , [info]rood, [info]liriaen, [info]das_dingsi and everyone else who would like to do it. don't feel forced, though, you don't have to do anything. i'm just under the impression that it's worth a try.

and if you've already done it, forgive me, i'm quite a forgetful person.

Lala lalala lalaaaa

(Vielleicht kriegt Tony Stark ordentlich was in die Fresse?!?)
Ha!
